PROCESSING TIME
In stock items will be dispatched within 1-3 days from receiving payment. Tracking numbers are supplied by email when the goods leave our warehouse. All items are fully checked, tested and set up to professional standards prior to dispatch. All pre-ordered items will be shipped as soon as they arrive, unless prior arrangements have been made.
CALCULATING SHIPPING
Shipping is charged by weight and delivery postcode. You can get a shipping quote by adding your preferred items to your cart & entering your postcode in the cart page.
KERBSIDE DELIVERY
Freight deliveries by our courier companies are “kerbside delivery” as standard.
Kerbside delivery means that items will be delivered to the nearest kerbside at the address specified. Our drivers will position their vehicle as close as possible to the delivery address and unload the palletised goods (using a tail-lift truck) into a spot on the kerbside that is safe and keeps the pallet secure. The courier will not be able to move goods further than the pallet trolley permits but will make sure that the goods are left in a safe and stable spot on the kerb. The delivery driver will always have to work within health and safety guidelines.
Residential Addresses
If you are unavailable to receive your delivery, all items will be left with an ‘authority to leave’ in a safe place.
If the courier deems the delivery address to be unsafe to leave your items, they will be returned to the nearest courier depot. A redelivery fee of $45.00 for small parcel items and $99.00 for large/bulk items is payable prior to a redelivery being approved.
Commercial Addresses
If you are unavailable to receive your delivery, all items will be returned to the nearest courier depot. A redelivery fee of of $45.00 for small parcel items and $99. 00 for large/bulk items will be payable prior to redelivery being approved.
PREPARING FOR A KERBSIDE PALLET DELIVERY
All large/bulky (pallet) deliveries can only be made to ground level locations where there is a solid flat surface and no steps (sorry, not even 1). This is because of the weight and size of the items as well as OH&S requirements. Pallet deliveries cannot be made on an inclined or uneven surface.
To prepare for a kerbside pallet delivery, it is beneficial to share with us any additional details that may make the location difficult for drivers to navigate. Please email any additional information to [email protected] or call our team on 1800 00 DSSE (3773) to discuss further.
For example, if the delivery address is located on a narrow road, our team can attempt to send a smaller, more suitable vehicle for the delivery. We will also need to be aware of any pedestrian-only zones that may restrict access for our drivers.
Play your part in assisting with a smooth delivery by ensuring the following:-
- Allocate Space: Ensure that there’s adequate room at the kerbside for the delivery vehicle and the pallets.
- Manpower: You might need an extra pair of hands to move the products from the kerb to their final destination.
- Safety Measures: Wear gloves and use appropriate lifting techniques to handle your beautiful salon furniture. Please read the ‘Beauty Bed Care Guide’ for information on how to lift all DSSE beauty beds.
- Inspection: Make it a point to inspect the delivered items for any discrepancies or damages before the delivery team departs, keeping in line with our terms & conditions of sale. You must check all items within 7 days of receiving your order.
PREMIUM/WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY
Go beyond just having your furniture delivered to your premises by choosing our premium white glove delivery service. You’ll receive the best care and attention from our specialist team. We can organise the delivery, setting up your furniture in your desired location and disposal of all the wooden pallets and packaging materials that protect your items. All you need to do is get your clients in and start your treatments.
Please note:
By requesting our premium service, you acknowledge that although every care is taken to ensure no damage occurs during the delivery process, accidents can happen and DSSE cannot be held responsible for any accidental damage to stairs, flooring, walls, or railings during the delivery process.

NSW: Sydney metro, Wollongong, Central Coast, Newcastle and country NSW (within 3 hour range from the CBD).
QLD: Brisbane metro, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and country QLD (within 3 hour range from the CBD).
APARTMENT/PO BOX DELIVERIES
DSSE strictly cannot deliver to any apartments or PO Boxes. The size and nature of our products makes it difficult to deliver via our regular courier service to apartments or PO Boxes. Please contact our team to discuss other options.
AUTHORITY TO LEAVE
All deliveries to residential addresses have an “authority to leave” which means it will be left at your premises in a safe place. We send emails with tracking details once your order has left our warehouse and it’s your responsibility to be at the delivery address to sign and accept delivery. DSSE will not be held responsible for any missing or stolen items.
If the courier deems the delivery address to be unsafe to leave your items, they will be taken back to the depot and you will be charged a redelivery fee of $45.00 for small items and $99.00 for large/bulkier orders.
We urge all customers to make sure they are at the delivery address at time of delivery otherwise its recommended you make other arrangements to avoid any issues.
DELIVERY TIMES
We try to deliver the goods in accordance with the delivery times set out below. The delivery times stated are indicative only and we are not responsible for any delays. Neither DSSE or their designated carrier will accept claims for consequential loss due to late deliveries.
Please note: Goods cannot be delivered during weekends or public holidays and these do not count as working days.
